LOIN&PARÉ Med Kit description

The Loin&Paré® medical survival kit provides high-quality equipment to save your own life or that of a victim in a medical emergency caused by a penetrating wound.

Based on the extensive experience of Joël Schuermans, author of the reference book Secourir en Zone Hostile and several field guides on the subject, in providing medical support for missions and expeditions, this emergency medical kit has been designed for self-rescue or first aid for victims of serious traumatic wounds.

This Loin&Paré® emergency kit can be used to treat massive extremity haemorrhage with a haemostatic or non-haemostatic dressing, basic airway obstruction and airway protection in case of risk of obstruction.

Seal an open chest wound and perform needle decompression in case of suspected tension pneumothorax, actively prevent hypothermia or improvise immobilization in the event of a suspected pelvic fracture, perform pressure cleansing of a wound, debride it with a scalpel if necessary and perform emergency suturing as a last resort, empty a friction ampoule, manage a traumatic eye wound, etc.
