Long presentation of the compressed Gauze
The Compressed Gauze is used for the management of moderate to severe wounds with significant blood loss.
Made of high-quality cotton for maximum absorbency and stability, the Compressed Gauze is vacuum packed and very compact for optimal storage.
It extends up to 3.6m and allows you to cover large wound areas. It is a must-have in any serious IFAK to achieve effective compressions, even when applied deep into injured tissue, to stop massive blood loss and thus save lives.
Woven gauze strips have been around for thousands of years, used by the Egyptians. They are lightweight, absorbent, highly malleable, adaptable, stable in a wide variety of environments and conditions, and inexpensive, at least for gauze that is not impregnated with a hemostatic agent.
